The Columbia River Gorge Commission staff have created a new flier for rural landowners inside the National Scenic Area that have concerns about what actions they can take to reduce their wildfire risk. Because this document will be distributed Gorge-wide, it is broad in nature and addresses very general information - recognizing the local and state authorities amongst the two states, six counties and nearly twenty rural fire districts. The flier was created in response to many common questions we've received and is intended to reduce any misunderstandings and
misinformation that may be out there.
